PS3 firmware 2.10 and PSP firmware 3.80 now available

Sony released firmware updates for both the PlayStation 3 and PSP adding some major new abilities.

More specifically PS3 got updated to firmware 2.10 and now supports WMV and DivX video files. Also firmware 2.10 includes the Blu-ray Profile 1.1, making the PS3 one of the first Blu-ray players on the market capable of advanced features for movies, such as secondary video and audio decoders for picture-in-picture viewing and interactive audio commentary. Blu-ray movies with support for profile 1.1 are scheduled for release in January 2008. Finally a Voice Changer setting for voice and video chat is giving you the ability to change/adjust your voice in to five preset levels.

The PSP with firmware 3.80 is getting Internet Radio over Wi-Fi and the ability to play PSone games over the PS3 with Remote Play.
