Thumbs up Microsoft officially demonstrates Windows 7, Multi-touch included

At yesterday's event in D6 Conference, Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer talked about Microsoft's past and future, Windows Vista, the Yahoo! story and the upcoming, next major version of Windows codename Windows 7.

The big reveal was a demonstration of a video showing Windows 7 in action featuring full multi-touch support, a technology developed by the Surface team.

As you can see from the video above the demonstration was quite impressive. It seems that Microsoft redesigned everything in the next Windows with multi-touch as a main functionality.

Windows 7 is excepted to hit stores 3 years from Window's Vista release or around 18 months from today.
