Question Windows 7 coming next year New images available - Windows XP live extended

While Microsoft already said multiple times that the next version of Windows isn't coming out until 2010, Bill Gates told investors today that the next major version of Windows, codenamed Windows 7 is coming to the market as early as next year. As of now the official timeline of Windows 7 release hasn't changed so we have to wait for Microsoft to make a statemend clarifying the exact release date and make public the official timeline of development of Windows 7.
Also today Super Site for Windows posted a lot of pictures of Windows 7 build 6519 that you may want to have a look.

In other Windows news Microsoft decided to keep alive Windows XP until 2010 and that is because a lot of low power Windows based PCs like Asus Eee PC hasn't enough power to run Windows Vista.
