Any news on the release date? Is it pushed back?

Officially Nokia still says Q1 2006 is the release date for the N80.
Some unofficial sources saying that the phone has been push back for about two months.

Vodafone shops in the other hand officially said that the phone is expected by the end of April.

Now the only thing we can do is to wait for Nokia’s moves.

N80 is now out sim-free.

Vodafone suppose to have it until May 15 for those to want to get a contract extension and get discount.

Great phone, contains pretty much everything in an nice slim very stylish package.

I like the black color better than the silver one.

Only negatives that it freeze a couple of times and you going to get a lot the "low memory" message.

Bugs that probably mother Nokia is going to fix in an upcoming firmware update.

I have tested the phone for about a month. My last phone was a SE P900 and I was used to the hand-writing and the touch-screen so my first days with the N80 were awkward. Anyway I got over it very fast.
N80 is small and elegant-looking (I got the silver vesion but many of you would prefer the black-one I'm sure!).Built-quality is high also. The new symbian software gives you a lot of possibilities, although I found some "bugs". It's very easy to access and it gives a lot of options.Voice-commads are very helpful and the screen resolution is impressive. Connectivity is in very high standards (Wi-Fi, bluetooth and IRs) and the usb connection to my PC was easy, unlike my P900.
On the other hand, the 3M camera is not as good as I expected. It blurs easily and the flash-led is weak.In addition the flash-led doesn't have a "flash-lite function" which is very handy on other cell-phones. But the most frustrating thing about the phone is the battery. It lasts one day!
But despite these disadvantages N80 is a smartphone that has everything you would wish for and and in a rational size and weight.
