At Barcelona in Mobile World Congress 2008 Sony Ericsson introduced the new G series and two new Symbian UIQ based smartphones as part of that line.
The
G900 (left) offers 262.144 color,
2.4'' touchscreen display at 240x320,
Wi-Fi connectivity and
5.0 Megapixel camera while the G700 (right) lacks Wi-Fi and it has a 3.2 Megapixel camera. Both models are supporting the European UMTS 2100 for 3G and GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900 and both of them lack support for EDGE and QuadBand, they have 160MB of internal memory and support for Memory Stick M2 cards.
Both models will start appearing to the market from Q2 2008.
