If you are getting it online, make sure you contact the seller for information before your purchase.

"Made by Nokia" and "Made in Finland" prints are located under the battery on the phone and outside of the retail box in the barcode sticker.

Nokia Made in Korea Is the ONLY US Version!

I am an Independant Dealer and sell alot of these. I know for a fact the Nokai N95 N-95 N95-3 NAM US Version is made in Korea. I'm Pretty sure the Nokia N95 made in finland is NOT a US version and some of the features will not work in US. SCammers and Knock off artists are printing out labels saying their "US VErsion" is made in Finland. If you see it, its a knockoff. The "Made By Nokia's" all sound like Chinese Knockoffs, which would explain the LCD problem a reader had previusly.

Unhappy help

I just bought Nokia n95-8gb. ( in US store) it was supposed to be a gift for someone who lives in Europe and does not speak English. I was told that I can instal Polish language ...unfortunatelly this phone is a brand new one and it does not have a Polish language in it ( I called Nokia and they weren't able to provide me with any info same one the other side ( Europe) the only info I was able to get was that I need eurpean code for the phone or to buy new phone in Europe. My question is DOES ANYBODY HAVE THE PHONE WIHT THE CODE FOR EUROPE ( it suppose to be underneath the battery and starts with 5).

How to update your Nokia N95, N95 8GB and add different language

Here is how you can update the firmware of your Nokia N95 and Nokia N95 8GB by changing the product code and languages

  1. First install Nokia PC Suite then connect your phone, select PC Suite from your phone's screen and wait for Windows to install the drivers
  2. Download and install Nemesis Service Suite
  3. Open Nemesis Service Suite and click “Scan for new device” on the right-upper part of the window
  4. Click "Phone info"
  5. Click on "Scan"
  6. Change the product code to the one you want from the lists below.
  7. Check the "Enable" next to it
  8. Click "Write", and your phone’s product code will be changed, this will happen very fast
  9. Close Nemesis Service Suite
  10. Install and run the Nokia Software Updater
  11. Wait for the Updater to detect for new firmwares, if you have already installed the latest updated click to overwrite and do it again
  12. That’s it! Your phone is now updated with the latest firmware and the languages you want

A question...

Hi Nikos

First of all I want to thank you for your nice topic...I just have a question:

I have an N95, a "Made in Finland" one, today I got curious about my product code and checked it out on the net. I found a "TPH Gray" next to my product code (0549747)...I live in Turkey but this handset is from Germany. It has Euro2 languages (including Turkish) and it has a grey box and all of the accessories within the box...Nothing is wrong with the phone, I just want to know what this TPH GREY means

Thanx...

I see, yes they do not work since you have the US model. I though you had the international version. I that case I recommend you to contact Nokia take your phone to Club Nokia maybe they can done the work for you.

The most important thing to check out in the Chinese version is the quality of the slider. Before you buy it check the phone and play with the slider. You want a phone with stable not loose slider. This is the main problem with most of the "Made by Nokia" models.

This is probably because you have a special color of N95. In your case Gray!

From what I understand the 2007 N95-3's were made in Finland and then they shifted over production to Korea for 2008. I am assuming your manufacturer part # is mostly 002B9Q1. If you have 002B9Q0 in stock can you double check on where it is manufactured for me-Thanks
